Welcome to the Civil Engineering Contractors Association website. CECA is the voice for Great Britain’s civil engineering contractors, providing leadership, service and representation in an industry that constructs and maintains the Nation’s infrastructure. Civil Engineering provides the vital elements for a fast-moving, modern economy and the infrastructure that underpins quality of life across the country. Our members construct, develop and maintain the rail and road networks, ports and airports, flood and sea defences, water and waste water systems and the means of energy production and distribution.
CECA represents the interests of civil engineering contractors in the public policy debates of the day - from climate change to safety, health and environment, from transport infrastructure, energy and water policy to corporate responsibility. We regularly meet Ministers, policy makers from across the political spectrum, industry and professional organisations and others to discuss and promote our members’ interests and inform them of the capabilities, trends and developments in our sector. CECA also highlights the exciting and fulfilling careers available at all levels with civil engineering contractors.
