CECA (South West) Membership Criteria


Companies wishing to become members of CECA should comply with the following criteria:-
 
1.   Be registered as a limited company with a civil engineering turnover of at least £500,000 per annum.

2.   Applications should be supported by two appropriate references and approved by the CECA Regional Board or Executive Committee.

3.   Applicants to be appraised by the CECA Regional Director.

4.   If in scope the applicant should be registered with CITB.

5.   The applicant should have a quality management statement in place.

6.   The applicant should provide a precis of company activity.

7.   The applicant should provide an environmental statement.

8.   The applicant should provide a copy of the company's health and safety policy.

9.   The applicant should commit to the CECA Health and Safety Action Plan and Strategy.

10.  The applicant should be registered for VAT.

11.  The applicant should have at least 60% of their directly employed workforce with CSCS or equivalent cards.

12.  The applicant should conform to the general principles of the CIJC Working Rule Agreement and have contracts of employment for all employees.
