CECA Midlands Management Development Programme 2017/2018 


This programme is designed for middle and senior managers working in civil engineering or building. The six workshops aim to provide each manager with tools and techniques for them to bring about change and development, on both a personal and business level. In addition the programme provides an opportunity for managers learning to be accredited by QCF NVQ vocational qualification awards recognised by CSCS Ltd and professional institutions. Each training session will allow some time for managers to build their QCF NVQ portfolio.This will be complemented by a site visit from a qualified and experienced assessor.

The cost of the programme is £1100 + VAT and is delivered with support from ConstructionSkills Management & Supervisory Transition Programme. The fund provides financial backing to encourage innovative ideas that deliver management training benefits across the industry. The cost will also include a Level 6 or 7 Vocational Qualification in Construction, should this be required. If delegates choose this option and work outside of a 50 mile radius of Birmingham then there will be an additional mileage charge, advised at the outset of the programme.

Places are limited to 16 and will be allocated at the discretion of the Director of CECA Midlands.

The venue will be BAM Nuttall Training Offices, Steelpark Road, Halesowen, B62 8HD.  all refreshments will be provided. Grants should be available for eligible employers for each achievement. Visit citb.co.uk/grant for further information.
