South West Training Awards

At the Annual Lunch held on 6 October in Torquay, CECA (South West) was pleased to present awards to employees of member companies in recognition of their achievements in the industry. The winners were:-

  • Most Promising Apprentice 2017 Highly Commended – Chloe Martin (HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction Ltd)
  • Most Promising Apprentice 2017 - Thomas Mitchell (Interserve Construction Ltd)
  • Most Promising Trainee Quantity Surveyor 2017 – Alex Evans (Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd)
  • Most Promising Trainee Civil Engineer 2017 – Dewi Liiv (Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd
  • Outstanding Contribution/Lifetime Achievement Award 2017 – Keith Broughton (Hochtief UK Construction Ltd)

CECA (South West) was also pleased to make Industrial Placement Awards to Bath University and Plymouth University undergraduates for their placement year with a member company. Nicholas Olds (University of Bath) won the award for his year with Suttle Projects and Ian Alberto (University of Plymouth) won the award for his year with BAM Nuttall Ltd.
