CECA 30 under 30: Emily Carmichael, Kier Infrastructure

Meet Emily Carmichael, Section Engineer at Kier Infrastructure, and one of CECA’s 30 Under 30.

Emily is helping to deliver the M6 Lune Gorge scheme, one of the major infrastructure projects shaping our road network. Since joining Kier as a Graduate Engineer in 2019, she has built broad experience across major infrastructure projects, strengthened further by a one-year secondment within Kier’s structures design team.

Highly driven, collaborative and technically curious, Emily thrives on solving complex engineering challenges. She is now working towards chartered status, with her sights set on senior engineering and leadership roles on major infrastructure schemes.

Emily is a fantastic example of the talent coming through the UK civil engineering sector and of the next generation #WorkingForInfrastructure. Congratulations, Emily!
