Hannah Rock has taken on the role of Rail Director at the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA).
Hannah has over two decades experience of working in the railway contracting industry, principally for Kier and Aspin, and is taking over the role from outgoing Rail Director Bill Free.
Commenting, Hannah said: “I am very much looking forward to working with CECA members to ensure that the work which Bill has been doing with contractors working in UK rail is continued, and that CECA can continue to go from strength to strength, working alongside our valued customers.”
Bill Free, who has undertaken the role since 2018, will help ensure a smooth transition during the early part of 2023. Bill plans to continue his involvement in the industry, as he moves in retirement, via judging for rail and contracting awards – while continuing with bespoke consulting work.
