GO CONSTRUCT STEM Ambassador Programme – Lunch and Learn
The Go Construct STEM Ambassador Programme offers an excellent opportunity help inspire the next generation of civil engineering and construction professionals.
A Go Construct STEM Ambassador is a representative and promoter of STEM-inspired careers and education within the construction and built environment sector.
Ambassadors work across a wide range of roles throughout the industry, including civil engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, contracting, and supply chain businesses and use their experience, passion, and enthusiasm to showcase the exciting opportunities available within our sector.
By volunteering as a STEM Ambassador, you can use your industry knowledge, skills, and real-world experience to engage with young people in schools, colleges, and community settings, helping them understand how STEM subjects connect directly to careers in construction and infrastructure delivery.
This Lunch and Learn session will introduce you to the programme and explain how to become involved, including:
- An introduction to STEM Learning, the UK’s largest STEM Ambassador programme, and the benefits of volunteering as a STEM Ambassador
- An overview of the Go Construct STEM Ambassador Scheme, its links to industry, and how it supports employers and ambassadors across the construction sector
- A live demonstration of the ambassador registration process, with step by step guidance to help you sign up
