Following in the footsteps of the successful CECA (South West) Foundations Group, CECA Southern would like to set up a Foundations Group. The aim of the group is to promote civil engineering and the construction industry to current and future generations and engage with other like-minded engineering and construction professionals, companies, organisations and groups who wish to attract young people into our industry. Ideally, he or she would be a young apprentice, technician or engineering employee (including student engineer employees), preferably with a passion for our industry and an appetite to attract new talent into civil engineering contracting. The individual nominated would be able to participate in the Foundations Group at a level which suits him or her (ranging from being simply a point of contact right up to a fully participating Group member – with all the CPD benefits that this brings).
