Piloting this new grant from Sept 2023 – March 2025
Supports work experience and progression for people on post-16 FE courses.
T Levels in Design Surveying Planning & Onsite Construction OR any Diploma L2-3 listed as eligible for short qualification training grant OR government traineeship
£500 = work experience, minimum duration 1 week or 30hrs
£1000 = 3 month sustained employment (the job beginning within 12months of placement ending) and with same employer as the work experience

- Fire Safety Awareness in Construction and the Built Environment – L1 awareness – 2hrs – Exam yes 20 x Qs – Certificate 5 years
- Fire Safety in Buildings – specific focus on installers – 1hr – 5 x modules (Grenfell, Materials, Fire Protection, Competence, Installation) – Knowledge checks no exam, Certificate 5 years – 12 months access to interactive course materials.
