An Engineering Technician in construction is a broad role; you may be a site engineer, CAD or BIM technician, setting out engineer or bridge inspector. Whatever your role, if you are involved in tasks which support the work of the engineering team, Technician Membership of the ICE may be the Professional Qualification for you.
Technician Membership is a mark of personal achievement as well as a qualification which will add professional status to your career. As a Technician Member you will also gain Engineering Council ‘Engineering Technician’ status and can then use EngTech MICE, after your name.
