CITB-Funded ILM Level 3 Leadership and Management Qualification Information

We wanted to share the latest information about the CITB-funded, ILM Level 3 Qualifications in Leadership and Management Practice for the Construction and Built Environment Sector as the information that you may have received previously has recently been updated.

Leadership and management are core skills required for all construction sites however, the industry has identified a skills gap and the need for more training in the sector. To support this, CITB are providing funding to support Leadership and management training courses and qualifications for all employers who are CITB members.

The course is fully funded and includes the following:

  • Training & Reference Materials
  • Exam Registration and Certification
  • Full Ongoing Support for the duration of the course
  • Refreshments throughout the entire course

In addition to this, The OM Group are pleased to be able to offer you the additional added benefits, when completing your qualification with us:

Two days for the award, followed by three days for the certificate: This format involves two days of classroom-based training followed by a further block of three days of classroom-based training.

Upon completion of the training program, the delegates will work with an assessor to undertake a work-based assessment that requires them to apply the skills and knowledge acquired during the programme to real-life workplace scenarios.

The assessor’s role is to guide the delegates in collecting evidence for the assessment, provide constructive feedback, and offer guidance to further enhance their leadership skills. Additionally, the assessor ensures that the delegates have the necessary support to continue their leadership and management development journey. Overall, the work-based assessment provides delegates with an opportunity to showcase their skills and grow as effective leaders.

There is a small cost per delegate, £151 plus VAT, which is for certification purposes.

As part of the funding requirements, we are also required to request the completion of the booking form, including your Levy number, which is then validated by CITB.  If you would like to take advantage of the fully funded qualification, please complete the Leadership & Management Booking Form.
