CECA will be taking a stand at the Seawork & Marine Civils 2022 exhibition in Southampton between 21 – 23 June. Members are welcome to visit and showcase their work in this sector by providing a digital copy (images or videos) of their projects (please contact Peter Crosland for further information on how to help).
In addition, there will be sector group meetings over the two days for;-
CECA Flood & Marine Group – Tuesday 21st
10.00 for 10.30 then 10.30 – 12.00 – CECA Flood & Marine Group Meeting
12.00 12.45pm – Networking lunch for CECA members and (afternoon) presenters
12.45 – 2.00pm – Session on Infrastructure Development Associated with the Marine Environment. Presentations to CECA and Non-CECA members attending the Marine Civils Exhibition. Topics likely to include Freeports, Inward Investment, Transport for the South East. Panel discussion to follow.
CECA Environment Group – Wednesday 22nd
10.00 for 10.30 then 10.30 – 12.00 – CECA Environment Group Meeting
12.00 12.45pm – Networking lunch for CECA members and (afternoon) presenters
12.45 – 2.00pm – Session on Responding to the Climate Challenge. Presentations to CECA and Non-CECA members attending the Marine Civils Exhibition Topics likely to include HVO fuel, Low Carbon Cement/Concrete, Hydrogen Power/Net Zero? Panel discussion to follow.
On Thursday 23rd there will be a dedicated session from Seawork on careers and opportunities for 16 to 18 year olds within the marine civils sector. CECA Next Gen/Foundations Group will be in attendance and will be providing support and advice where appropriate.
