A half day course to help develop your knowledge and skills in using artificial intelligence.

Find out how AI is reshaping the construction industry, its effective use & the associated opportunities & risks.

Course content includes:

  • What is AI: overview of what AI is, how it works and its capabilities; how AI will transform Construction.
  • Effectively using AI: four principles of use; how to work with AI.
  • Opportunities: design and planning; tendering and estimating; project and SHEQ risk management; construction planning and programmes; project records and administration; maintenance management.
  • Risks and challenges: changes to jobs and roles; data privacy and security; technology costs; AI bias and errors.
  • Developing a strategic approach to AIintegrating AI into a construction business; training and development; managing implementation risks.

Objectives

At the end of the course delegates will:1. understand how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the construction industry2. know the key AI opportunities to enhance efficiency and profitability3. appreciate the potential AI risks and challenges4. appreciate the factors to be considered when implementing AI into an organisation

The course will include a presentation, discussion sessions, case studies, videos, quiz and Q&As.

About the Trainer

Bob Bilbrough of Robert Bilbrough Associates Limited.

Bob is an experienced consultant, qualified teacher and QCF/NVQ assessor. He is a Chartered Builder, Construction Manager, Environmentalist and Member of the Chartered Manager Institute. Bob has previoulsy provided training for CECA members in risk management, effective communication, commercial awareness and planning and programming.
