Autism in the Workplace

Suitable for all employees to increase confidence in understanding autistic identity to aid positive communication with colleagues, clients and autists in the wider community by reducing inclusion barriers that are specific to your own workplace.

The course will be delivered by two specialist practitioners from the Everything Autism clinical team. Participants will have the benefit of in session discussions relevant to personal experiences and training needs with the following areas being covered:

  • Understanding the power of a workplace that is inclusive
  • Exploring autistic identity in the context of Neurodiversity
  • Understanding the importance of changing terminology from the autistic community
  • Understanding more about common autistic characteristics, reflecting on potential strengthsand challenges, as well as autistic ways of being and common experiences.

Exact timings to be confirmed but will be approx. 9am -12pm.

About Everything Autism

Everything Autism is a specialist neuro-affirming practice working with and supporting autistic individuals and their families. They are a multidisciplinary team who have significant expertise and knowledge in providing services relating to the formal identification of autism. They offer training packages to education settings and workplaces which amplify autistic perspective, experiences and ways of being.
