Last week we hosted our first “Quick Supplier Connect” webinar for two small Welsh businesses to pitch their products/services to our civil engineering contractor members. We keep telling ourselves that Wales is a nation of small businesses, and we are. So, why not give the innovative ones a helping hand by putting them in touch with larger businesses, explore the opportunities and help grow the Welsh economy?
They weren’t in the civil engineering sector themselves but had products which could help our members do better business. One was in AI the other in school engagement.
It was only a 10min “online pitch” by each of them but it was enough to spark some interest for our members (or not!) and provide contacts for further offline discussions if needed.
No cold calling, not too much time lost from the business and all done over a virtual coffee.
We’ll do more of this!
