Our training programme for 2026 is based on the support themes of Contracts, Legal, Political, Social Value and Carbon Management.
NEC4
Here is our programme for delivering contract support via our NEC4 training modules :

- 20 May – Compensation Events
- 18 June – Pricing NEC contracts/Managing Risk
- 14 July – NEC ECS Overview
- 16 September – ECSC and Z clauses
- 13 October – Common Pitfalls
- 18 November – NEC4 ECC Overview
- 9 December – Programme Workshop
NB: The cost per person to attend the NEC4 training modules is £60 plus VAT. An invoice will be issued following attendance. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the training; otherwise, the full fee will be charged. Non-attendance without prior cancellation will also be charged in full.
Legal

- 9 October – Liquidated Damages
- 11 December – Legal Update 2026 Part 1
- 8 January (2027) – Legal Update 2026 Part 2

Politics
Here is our planned timeline for delivering our political support modules :
- 1 April – Pre-election Politics and Infrastructure Overview webinar
- 16 September – Post-election Politics and Infrastructure Overview webinar
These free events will be delivered by our public affairs consultants, Camlas, before and after the Senedd elections in May 2026.
Social Value
Here is our planned timeline for delivering our social value support modules :
- Specific date to be agreed in June 2026 for training for SMEs in social value and the launch of contractor specific education resources which are in development with partners.
Carbon Management
Carbon management support resources are currently being developed by CECA and we hope to roll them out in 2026.
In addition to these programmes, we continue to work with partners to introduce a programme of Leadership and Development Courses for members. Further details are published via weekly member briefings.
