The Senedd elections in May promised to be significantly different to previous elections with a new electoral system based on proportional representation, an increase in the numbers of Senedd members and a likely shift in the balance of power between parties. Well, there was definitely a shift with Plaid Cymru becoming the largest party and forming a government (albeit a minority government), Reform becoming the official opposition and Welsh Labour down to only 9 seats!
But what does all of this mean for the infrastructure sector?
Join us online on 16th September at 930am for an hour long webinar as we host Rhodri ab Owen of Camlas public affairs consultants who will share with us his insight into the outcome of the election, what’s been happening since May and how the different parties are likely to perform when it comes to infrastructure. We’ll also be reviewing CECA Wales’ “Policy Asks” report and discussing which, if any, of our asks are likely to be delivered.
