The campaign will run for two weeks, starting today on World Mental Health Day, the 10th of October, and finishing at 12pm on Monday the 24th of October 2022.
All funds raised during this time will be DOUBLED by the Big Give. All donations must be made by card payment through our campaign page to be eligible for match funding. See here.
It costs just £1,500 to train a SANE volunteer. With this training, our volunteers can support SANEline, connecting with people on a very human level, showing compassion, understanding and warmth. They understand mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, depression, PTSD and psychosis, and are able to signpost people to specialist organisations. But above all – our volunteers are there to help someone at a time when they are in crisis, at a time when they feel they are alone, and have no-one to turn to. With this campaign, SANE hope to raise £20,000 which can train 13 new volunteers!
