Houses of Parliament’s Restoration and Renewal Programme – Construction Partner Market Engagement

The Houses of Parliament’s Restoration and Renewal Programme is inviting suppliers to participate in a market engagement exercise on the proposed future procurement of three strategic partners to provide: design, integration and construction services.

The exercise will commence with a market briefing in the Palace of Westminster on Monday 16 October and will be followed by a market briefing paper and questionnaire to hear directly from the supply chain on the proposed approach.

The Houses of Parliament’s Restoration and Renewal Programme recognise both the challenges and opportunities of delivering one the most extensive construction programmes in the UK within a UNESCO world heritage site. To achieve this successfully they need supply chain partners who share their passion for this programme and are committed to working collaboratively with them, to not just successfully deliver the works but to boost the UK economy, and create jobs and apprenticeships across the country, from engineering and high-tech design to traditional crafts such as carpentry and stonemasonry. As the Delivery Authority moves towards the delivery phase of the Restoration and Renewal Programme it is important they ensure they have the right long-term strategic partners on board to support them.

Further details can be found here, including how to register for the event on Monday 16 October.
