De-mystifying the rail sector

This half day event is designed to “de-mystify” the rail sector for our members, highlight the opportunities that are available and “bust some of the myths” that discourage contractors, particularly smaller ones, from bidding for work.

The session will provide a rounded overview of how to enter the rail sector and become supplier ready. We have drawn together a number of industry experts along with the clients from Transport for Wales (TfW) and Network Rail to explain what is required to be a supplier to the rail industry and the potential work that exists. This could be good news for smaller companies, particularly those in north and mid Wales, as TfW and Network Rail Wales are keen to ensure that the benefits of their investment spreads far and wide. The seminar will be relevant to those who wish to work online and/or offline.

The event will obviously suit member companies who do not yet work in rail but similar events across other parts of CECA have proved to be of interest to members already active in the sector as well, who would like to widen their base of Tier 2 companies.

This flyer is for you to register your place at the seminar, which will take place at The Clayton Hotel in Cardiff, on the morning of the 12th June 2019. A more detailed agenda will be issued closer to the date. Demand is expected to be high and as we have a limited number of places please contact deborah@cecawales.co.uk as soon as possible to register your place.
