CECA South West Members’ Meeting – December 2025

CECA South West’s Last Members’ Meeting of 2025 was at Sandy Park on Wednesday 3 December.

What a fun event this morning was! Matt Cosby of Goonhilly Earth Station gave a brilliant presentation (before driving to Heathrow and jumping on a plane to a conference in Washington DC).

Jon Miles talked eloquently about degree apprenticeships at Plymouth University (click here), our very own South West Foundations Group gave an impressive review of their activities for this year (click here)  and Ben Goodwin, CECA’s new Policy and Public Affairs Director spoke enthusiastically about CECA’s priorities for 2026 (click here).

Many thanks must also go to Rob Turner and Ian James of Devon CC who nobly stepped in at the eleventh hour to cover for a speaker who couldn’t make it and gave an informative overview of the County’s position on LGR and framework opportunities. The fifty strong attendees seemed to enjoy every moment!
